Who are we?

Developed by The Borderless Practice, formerly known as The Diversity Practice, Borderless Coaching continues a legacy of over 20 years of bold, system-shifting coaching and leadership development.

As an award-winning international consultancy, The Borderless Practice helps leaders and organisations become truly borderless: grounded in identity, unbound by outdated assumptions, and equipped to navigate complexity with clarity and courage.

Borderless Coaching is the next evolution of this work, a pioneering framework, methodology, and train-the-coach programme for those ready to lead coaching into the future.

Our Manifesto

This is coaching without walls.

We believe great coaching crosses borders – not just geographic ones, but the unseen borders of identity, culture, experience, and belief.

To listen beneath the surface. To ask the harder questions. To invite the deeper answers.

The most powerful coaching happens when difference is not erased but embraced. When we are skilled enough — and brave enough — to meet the whole human in front of us.

It’s about forging the kind of connection that makes transformation possible — the type of trust that lets your clients unmask, lean in, and do the work that changes lives.

Borderless Coaching calls you to step beyond what’s familiar. It asks you to examine your own lens, story, and edges so you can show up fully for those who trust you to hold space for theirs.

Borderless Coaching makes you the coach who doesn’t turn away when the conversation gets hard – but leans in, ready.

It equips you not just with theory but also with the real-world tools to coach across cultures, complexities, and divides.

Because the world needs more of us who can hold space across difference. The world needs more of us who are ready to be borderless.

Meet the People Behind Borderless Coaching

Carol Campayne

Founder. Leadership Alchemist. Systems Disruptor.

With training in ORSC (Organisation & Relationship Systems Coaching) and CTI (Co-Active Coaching), Carol brings a rare blend of relational depth and strategic clarity to her work. She is also the architect of the landmark Different Women, Different Places research, exploring the lived leadership experiences of women of colour across global contexts.

Carol is known for asking the questions that unlock uncomfortable truths—and for creating developmental spaces where complexity, identity, and humanity are not side notes, but centre stage.

“Borderless Coaching is the space I’ve always wanted to exist. Where real conversation happens. Where coaches are equipped to meet the world as it is—and to help shape what it could be.”

She brings clarity, lightness, and a deep love of learning to every space she enters.

“We’ve reached the limits of business-as-usual coaching. Borderless invites us into the mess, the meaning, and the magic of what real coaching can be.”
